I'm going to be driving for two eight hour days. Then doing it again in a week. I have a glitchy back as is. My Honda Civic seats will kill me. I'm thinking about renting a car. Any suggestions as to what kind of car gives good back support? Thank you.
This doesn't happen every time. When I start the rig every once and a while the starter will get "stuck" and continue trying to start the pickup even after I shut the key off. I just replaced the ignition switch and it still continues to do so. I'm not sure if this is relevant or not but the starter and solenoid are both fairly new, at least a year old, altho the pickup sat for a half a year. I was having troubles with starting so I would use a pair of pliers and "jump" the solenoid to start it. I was just wondering if that would ruin the solenoid and what would cause my pickup to keep turning over after the key is removed. To stop it I simply pull the negative cable off the terminal.
NOTE: If the rig starts and the starter continues turning...shutting the key off does stop the engine, just not the starter.
We are trying to remove and replace tint on the rear window of the car we just bought (95' 525i). We are thinking the easiest way to do this is by removing the entire window. The tint that was on there when we bought it started bubbling up and we can't see through the back window.
I am planning to drive my vehicle (currently registered in the state of Texas) to Arizona to sell it to my brother. Is state inspection in Arizona mandatory and what is the process to change the registration from my name to my brother's name ?
