ok it's an old kind of candy i think.. on the outside its like a taffy hard cover and the color is white. then on the inside is peanut butter or just peanuts.. it's really yummy.. but i don't know the name?

We have these meat products that were overlooked in our freezer for more than six months and since they are too much to cook at once, we were thinking of still keeping them in there for another month or so. Since they are frozen for a long time, we are thinking that they are still good. Are they really safe to cook and eat?
