I am looking at the Cannon SX110is and the DMC-TZ5S. They are going for the same price of $225 on newegg. In terms of quality, reliability, durability, and picture which is the better of the two cameras? I know that cannon makes excellent cameras, but I would like to be open to options.
I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-H2 camera. I've lost the instructions. The last couple of parties where I've taken pictures, this horrible red beam has shot out from the camera for about 1-2 sec before it takes the picture. The beam has really annoyed everyone in the picture. What's it purpose? Can I disable it? If so how do I do it? Thanks in advance.
I am in the market for a good, nearly indestructible camera. In a year's time, I accidentally destroyed two cameras because of my lifestyle.
I am constantly out on adventures in the snow, rain, sunshine, at the beach, in the desert, in the mountains, on rivers, camping, hiking, snowboarding, ATVing. You name it, I do it.
I am just looking for a good camera that is fairly shock proof and water resistant and also takes nice pictures. A plus would be long-lasting batteries. Also, I don't want to pay too much more than $300.
Thanks for your insight! :D
I recently got the sony cybershot DSC-650. Looks like it needs the pro duo memory chip for extra storage. Can I use the sandisk memory pro duo ? They seem to be way cheaper than the sony products. Please let me know. Thanks !
