My laptop screen just turned off one day and wouldn't turn back on. The computer itself runs but the screen stays black as if the computer were turned off. It briefly came on one day when I had the laptop partially open but when I moved the screen it went off. This leads me to believe that this problem lies within the connection between the screen and the laptop. A local electronics retail/repair store said it would cost about $400 to repair. This seems quite high. Does anyone know about this problem and what causes it/how it's fixed and if the $400 estimate is correct.
Ok ever since i download Firefox (very good internet browser) my adobe flash player didn't work on my Internet explorer which means i cant watch ANY VIDEOS etc. This is a problem is that i have prism video cinverter and download manager (has to be bought) and i can download youtube videos with it (actually download them, which is quicker than waiting for it to load coz i have slow internet). So everytime i download adobe it only adds to Firefox and yes i have tried setting Internet explorer as my default browser but it still dont work :(. so if you know ANY possible way i can PLEASE TELL MEI BEG OF U!!!!!!! 10 POINTS FOR WHOEVER TELLS ME PLZ AND THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
I'm planning on building a gaming rig, to play games such as Call of Duty 4, BioShock, Crysis, The Orange Box, Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, and some unreleased games.
Anyways, please tell me, from an expert's point-of-view, is this a good gaming rig?
Thermaltake Armor Series VA8003BWS Black Full Tower Case w/ 25CM Fan
XFX nForce 680i LT SLI
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz
ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro 92mm
2x EVGA GeForce 8800GT Superclocked
OCZ SLI-Ready Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 800
Western Digital 1TB
Creative Sound Blaster SB0570 Audigy SE 7.1
OCZ GameXStream SLi 600W
Is this rig efficient enough? I'm planning on overclocking my CPU. Does my PSU have enough wattage?
Thanks in advance for all positive input.
