I have changed the plugs around just to see if I had one mixed up.. but still no sound. What am I doing wrong. I have checked the computer for anything muted.. I had sound until I had the hard drive replaced ??? thanks for any help....
My hard drive is supposed to be a 250 GB, but the computer only recognizes it as a 127. Is there anyway I can fix this, preferably without losing all my files? Also I would prefer to have a step by step, rather than a bunch of computer talk I don't understand.
I put in the windows XP installation disk and it says boot from CD push any key so I did but after that it just freezes and wont go to the next screen. The underscore thing is still blinking so yeah what do I do
I want to return the 120gb hard drive and exchange it for a 250gb hard drive they are both Seagate Ultra ATA how can i remove the operation system from the 120gb one so when i return it theres would be nothing on it.?
Computer #1 died, probably power supply.
I put the hard drive from Computer 1 (IDE-year 1998) into computer 2 (SATA) as a secondary master, using the CD Rom cable (temporary).
The BIOS sees both the hard drives and boots from the computer 2 hard drive, which is good.
In file explorer, when you click on the secondary drive, it wants to format it. I'm trying to get the data off of it.
I tried booting from the old drive, but Windows is corrupted and won't load.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
the computer were not in use for long time and after i desided to use it agian when i put the computer on it gives me three beams(sound)then and monitor is not working
My CD/DVD Burner keeps failing anywhere between 25% and 50% through burns. I have downloaded the latest firmware. Is there any other software or tweaks I can do to burn successfully?
