Hi, I have been having troubles with my internet and when I was told to fix the ip settings under local area connection 5 properties>advanced it says
"Windows cannot disply the properites of this connection. The Windows Manegement Instrumentaition (WMI) information might be corrupted. To correct this, use System Restore to restore Windows to an earlier point (called a restore point). System restore is located in the System Tools folder in Accesories."
When I try doing this it only allows me to do dates in November. I cannot go back any farther. All dates in November have displayed this error so I cannot do a date in November. Please help.
i enter my default ip adress, and im supposed to Find the section that says Port Range Forwarding or similar. on the top left,it says qwest.does anybody know where that section is? im trying to make my bittorent go faster
I have just built a comp. i have windows x64 and the internet doesn't work on it... how do i get it to work.. lemme know if you need more info.. its really pissing me off
i type in admin for the password nothing.. i tried admin for username too, nothing.
and i tried to hold the reset on the router, but that doesnt seem to work....i cant get into the linkysys 192....etc http...
ok i have an xbox 360 and my computer is in my room it has wireless signal for internet, but i have the whole basement and the router is on the top floor is there anyway too hook up xbox to back of computer? P.S my computer has a spot in the back to fit a wire like the one u put in ur wall that has that internet thing( i dont know if u know what im talking about but answer please 10 points!! PP.S can i just hook up the cable it brings with it to my computer and have xbox live , make an account and call it a day????
