I have an '03 Honda Civic LX. I realize the stock anti-theft radio will disable itself and you need a code. What I need to know is, How do I take the radio out in the first place? I want to hook up my subwoofer's amplifier to it, but I can't get the radio out.
As seen in a similar model of my truck for the back seats:

The sub is http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs.php?series_id=17
I was wondering if I could fit 2 of these under the left and right seats and the general size of the box.

is like a battery just for the amp?
i have all stock electrical system(battery and alternator)
i want to set up my system
1 - 12" Solo X
2500 RMS(5000 Max)
and
1 -Hifonics BX165D
RMS Power Rating: 1600 watts x 1 chan. @ 1 Ohm
RMS Power Rating: 1100 watts x 1 chan. @ 2 Ohms
im going to run the sub at 1 ohm
which the amp is stable and it would push about 800 to 1600 RMS
and i saw there selling a Kinetik HC600 Power Cell
for $60 which i think its kinda cheap compared to its price which is $199
http://www.kinetikaudio.com/hc600.asp
and im also getting a Yellow Top Optima Battey but till next week
and i will also replace the car grounds to 0 AWG
but the HO alternator i cant seem to find one
its for a 95 Ford Probe V6
A worker from a Car Audio Store told me that stocked alternators can be customize to out put more amps
like i said i don't know much about Power Cells so i don't want to buy it if it wont do me any good

I am running two 500 watt alpine amps for my two 12"s and a 65 by 4 watt amp to run my speakers. The company spokesman for a high output alternator company said I only needed a new alt if I was running over 1500 watts. I have never had problems until lately and I am wondering if a farad would be enough to help out?
