Is there a GameShark Version 4 compatible with PS1?

I'm bidding on a GameShark V4.0 for PS1, but all online references to Version 4 link it with PS2. My purchase is being made on eBay, and the product is used but in good condition. It is the cheapest advertisement for the type of GameShark that I want, and another advertisement for the SAME GameShark on ebay (an unopened product) says that it IS compatible. I'm clueless, and I'd like some help with this before I close the deal.

No. that version of gameshark is ONLY gonna be for the PS2. have you checked gameshark;s website? they'll be the ones to tell you yes or no.
