Fenugreek herb at pretty much any store. I used this when I began back on birth control and noticed a huge increase. (I also stopped the mini pill and used other methods of BC until I was done nursing) Also you can pump in-between, but I will say hand pumping is very slow and you might get discouraged quickly. If you can get a motorized pump that would help you tremendously. You can rent them from the hospitals. Then you can store the milk for other time or to give to her after she has breast fed and you think she needs more. Supplementing with formula is also an option. You can nurse her and then at the next feeding (in 2 hours) give her a bottle of pumped milk or formula. You will have to pump during this time to keep the supply up but then maybe you can get her more used to larger amounts of milk and she can begin to suck more keeping up the demand. I firmly believe that what every you choose to do it the best for you and your baby. I did not have trouble going from breast milk to formula and back again in a day with my child. I ended up having to pump everything, but I still sat with my baby, loved her and held her just the same. You will do fine. You will find your groove soon. But do not be afraid to try something else or feel like a failure if nursing is not enough for her. I just think, thank goodness we live when we are able to identify issues the babies are having and are able to correct them before the issues become problems!

I would think that a detox for a nursing mom would not be good for you are the baby. i just finished a fasting type detox where you can drink juice and water and it left me very weak.

Detoxing while nursing should be avoided. The drugs used to detox your system can be passed through your milk and into your baby, which can be harmful. Use formula while detoxing.

if you're nursing you shouldn't be trying to cleanse your system at all. Detoxing your body while nursing wipes out all the vital nutrients that need to be passed through your milk to the baby.

With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don't get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. What toxins are you trying to get rid of? Any diet you try while nursing really ought to be approved by your doctor.
