<1- do you attend a church?> Yes. <<2- which afirmation do you belong (baptist, catholic, temple, ect)>> church of Christ <<3- Are you faithful to attend whenever the church doors are open?>> I am usually there when the doors are open. <<4- Would anything interfere with attending church (sleep, family, anything)>> A family matter might would. <<5- Would it be a serious event to miss church.>> No. <<6- Why do you attend church?>> To learn more from the Bible, and worship God. <<7- Is your church leader (pastor) a male or female?>> I don't believe in using the word pastor, our preacher is male, and we DON'T allow female preachers. 1 Timothy 2:8-15 (KJ21, 21st Century King James Version) 8It is my will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands without wrath and doubting. 9In like manner also, that women should adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobermindedness, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly array, 10but, as becometh women professing godliness, with good works. 11Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14And Adam was not deceived; but the woman, being deceived, was in the transgression. 15Notwithstanding, she shall be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobermindedness. <<8- What is your salvation? (what saves you)Blood, water, works, etc>> Baptism by immersion, and by believing that Jesus is the Son of God. <<9- Do you take notes during the message, in any form?>> My wife does during our preachers sermon. <<10- Do you daily read your bible? Genesis to Revelation, cover to cover>> I don't, but need to make it a habit. <<11 - Which bible do you read from, (version)?>> KJ21, 21st Century King James Version <<12- How do you help your church?>> I do Scpriture Reading, and assit at the Table when called upon. We have the Lord Supper (cummunion) every Sunday. <<13- What in your words is the Gospel?>> He died on the cross to save us from our sins. <<14- Lastly: Do you have full assurance, that after death, you'll know where you'll be.>> I know I should, but I have doubts. When we decide to obey the Gospel when we are baptized (by immersion only), we have to live by the Bible, only the Bible, the best we can. Before being baptized, you have to confuss before men that Jesus is the Son of God.

Oh goodness, this is a long list. Let's see... 1. Yes 2. Currently Baptist (though I'm of the more reformed persuasion) 3. No--I rarely make it on Wednesday nights 4. Yes, some things might, but it's very rare 5. No 6. To worship, to connect with God in a corporate way and if I went to a better church (pickings are limited here), I would also go to learn 7. Male 8. Salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone; being born again or spiritually baptized which is enabled by Christ's work on the cross 9. Sometimes 10. Yes 11. NASB or ESV. When studying, I'll look at other versions (especially Greek) 12. Piano playing, singing, Sunday School, Librarian 13. The good news of the gospel is that all have sinned, the penalty for each who have sinned is spiritual death, Christ's death on the cross worked a substitutionary atonement for those who believe in Him which--when applied to the individual--results in new spiritual life and reconciliation to God and gives us the ability to have fellowship with and to please God with the end result of eternal life with Him in Heaven. 14. Yes

1) Yes 2) Non-denominational (Church of God based in Anderson, IN) 3) No, but generally on Sundays I am there. 4) Yes. Lack of sleep, family not feeling well, just do not feel like going this week. 5) No 6) Honestly, routine. I've always gone growing up, and I still do usually. It used to be for teaching and worship. But most Christian teaching these days I do not agree with, and I can worship God in a setting other than church. 7) Male 8) Salvation is through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. When he died on the cross, he purchased salvation for all of mankind. I am currently undecided if all then are saved or if only those who accept his gift of salvation are saved. 9) No 10) Not currently 11) New King James or the NIV 12) I am in charge of updating the website 13) The Gospel is the message of God. He gave us the gift of sending the Son to live among men, as a man. He taught a message of compassion and of insight into who God is. He allowed himself to be the sacrifice so that we would not have to pay the penalty for our sins. He rose from death, in physical body, and ascended into the sky where he was translated into heaven. 14) Yes I do.

I can explain the gospel to you- but please e mail me for that one- I attend a non denominational church- Calvary Chapel. I do not go every Sunday- and I should! I live far from it and sometimes I do not get up in time...But we study the Bible book by book and chapter by chapter- There is a man who is a pastor. He loves the Lord with all his heart, and he prays for the Holy Spirit to speak to us through the word- and not just his own words- which I like that. When my kids are sick I stay home with them too- so that is an interference. But we do devotions at home if that happens. I am saved by the grace of God- by believing in what He did on the cross, that He died and rose again and I am forgiven through His blood- He set me free from hell and sin. I was baptized when I was 9 ( I think it was) --but the Bible is clear that one must believe first, then be baptized...I do not take notes during church but I underline scripture when I feel the need to- And I have been reading may bible straight through for some time now- I am currently in John...and I try to read everyday- at least a couple chapters. I attend a womens bible study when there is one going on. I tithe at my church- and at times help out in the childrens ministry- but I should be doing that more. And I am DEFINATELY assured of my salvation in Christ Jesus. I know when I die, I will meet my Savior face to face and enter the gates of Heaven...even though I do not deserve it at all! Yet He loved me that much....Praise be to Him! -So email me if you want me to give you the gospel message.

I am a Catholic. I attend Mass 2 - 3 x times a week. Unless I am sick I go to Mass at LEAST on Sunday. My Pastor is a priest who is attached to the Bishop who is attached to the Cardinal who is attached to the Pope. We hear 2 Scripture readings and a psalm at every Mass and I read the Bible myself most days. I read from the Jerusalem Bible. I used to be heavily involved with the liturgy in the art and environment area but, I can no longer do that work. I also visited the home-bound and nursing-home bound people in our Parish with the Legion of Mary. The Faith I have has been given to me and I have to fight temptation daily to stay in good graces. I receive the Sacraments frequently , without them , through which Jesus is made manifest in so many ways , I could not survive. Mostly I take the words of "The Wife of Noble Character" to heart and try to be as close to that as I can. It is the model for a Church and for each individual.

You put thought into your question. No I don't attend Church, for personal reasons. I am a Christian, Baptist, if I don't read my Bible I have a book of Bible verses I keep in my purse to read, and some little pamphlet-booklets. I love my old-style King James Version Bible and I take notes while I'm reading it, I also keep a note pad to jot down Bible verses i come across that touch me. I was Baptized at 12 yrs of age, in the church baptismal (water), but, we read the Bible verses and pray we are washed in the Blood of Christ. I know in my heart that I am a Christian, that I am part of God's family and He has a place waiting for me in Heaven, I am enjoying my temporary stay on earth, but I can't wait to get to Heaven to see Him.
