Black eye??

My 4 year old hit her head on the coffee table and when I first looked it looked like she hit her left temple.. then an hour later it was a little swollen above the left eye. Now she is kind of tired.. could be from playing or not taking a nap yesterday, don't know. Beyond that she is acting normal but the left eye.. the upper part around the eye brow is swollen and bruised. Do I just keep an eye on her and what should I watch for? My husband isn't worried, but I'm always a paranoid mom.

If she is lethargic, sleeping a lot, hard to arouse, then it is a problem...Go to the ER and have it checked! What harm can it do to error on the side of caution? If she is back to her normal self, not lethargic, not sleeping all the time and not hard to arouse, then I wouldn't worry but just observe for these signs

If its still swollen put some ice in a wash cloth and put it on the part that is swollen. until it goes down. it going to be cold. but it will be alright.
