Ok. Sounds like you need some SERIOUS color correction. Its time you STOP doing it on your own and go to a salon. What happened is that you didnt fill your hair correctly before applying another color. You need to fill blonde hair before going dark so it doesnt turn green or have an off shade. Trust me, this is way out of your league. Box color from the drug store wont help. Go to a salon and try not to color your own hair anymore.

ask me
Gosh, I work in a hair salon and I would say, take it to a professional. At least ask for some advice and see what they could do to help you in a situation like this. This could be quite a process and really you shouldn't handle this alone. If budget is a problem, check out the local beauty college the instructors are there and will help guide the student in the right direction and it is a miminal cost. That is the best advice, honestly...good luck

Well something tells me that you self-dyed your hair, so I would suggest next time go to a professional, and in order to get rid of the blonde patch, ask a professional at a salon for some tips to get it out, but if they tell you, don't go and try to take it out yourself, get a professional to do it. And untill then, keep your hair up!

You can go to any beauty supply store and get a color corrector and then re-color your hair. Just ask the cleark working there. Generally they have a beauty license and can help. It is apparent you dont want to, or dont have the money to spend if you dealt with this problem for a year. I feel sorry for you and your husband to have to be unhappy with your look for almost a year. This will handle it. Good Luck!

if you dye your hair dark over bleached highlights theres nothing for the dye to hold on to because bleaching strips the colour cell in the hair so u need to but a reddish tone over it first so the brown will have something to hold to :) thats why theres still blond or under florescent lights may look greenish. :) good luck!

Have your hair neutralized and start over. Try a vitamin C treatment at the salon.

Go to a professional, They can do a weave and even it out. It would prob. still be lighter but I made the same mistake (except at the front of my hair) and it was still lighter than I would have liked but he added darker tones all over to even it out.

i think your best bet is to go to the salon at this point. trying to redye your hair again will only cause more damage. especially since it looks like your hair is naturally brown. the colorist at your salon will be able to at least make it blend for now. she may not be able to do the color you would like, it may be lighter than you want for now, but eventually you can get it back to a darker color, which would probably be more flattering for your coloring.
