A circle of hands being held (very large) and all your daily activies drawn inside. Like school, food, work pets, friends, money. Meaning it is all held together by those binding hands. Those who share the most learn the most.

When parents ask me how they can help their child be more successful, I often suggest some of the following: 1. Sign up for field trips 2. Volunteer in the classroom (your child's teacher should have a lot of things you can do) 3. Be a guest reader (FYI, Read Across America is March 2) 4. Help with an after school club 5. Attend school functions, parent-teacher conferences, etc 6. Communicate with your child's teacher 7. Check your child's work 8. Support your child's teacher - you are a TEAM 9. Talk to your child - get to know him/her as a person. Don’t just dismiss your child with a “not now, I’m busy.” 10. Know who your child's friends are (monitor internet activity for example) 11. Make your home a print rich environment (books, notes, signs on the fridge, etc) 12. Value discussion and respect all members of your home/classroom 13. Be a good role model (model manners... say "thank you") 14. Read with your child 15. Be an advocate for better education in your district and state Take the time to show you are interested in your child's education. Making a poster together would be a nice start.

O.K.HERE GOES HERE IS AN OLD DAD HERE. She asks each member of the family what they love the most about the family. Then when she has an answer from everyone she draws a symbol in the center for each thing they nominated. Then around those things she draws pictures of the people. She draws a line from the thing of love in the center out through the person that loves that thing out to a drawing of what she thinks the success it might lead to.But all the love is coming out from the center of the family leading to the future.

if it were me, i wouldn't be doing the poster yet, but good for your kid that she isn't procrastinating. But once i finally got around to doing the poster, i would just draw some stuff that me and my parents do together seeing that you said that the theme is something about the parents link to success (or something like that). Maybe something like going to the park or the grocery store or playing games together. I dunno, maybe i read the question wrong, or not, anyway, just trying to help.
