no it is not normal for contractions. but it could be just gas cramps. if you have had sex in the last 24 hours your uterus could be contracting a little bit... that would be normal though. try taking a luke warm bath. if you have spotting or any kind of bleeding go directly to your emergency room. if the pain is still there in the morning, call your doctor to a same day appointment

I have cramps throughout my whole pregnancy. It's the stretching of your uterus. Sometimes the stretching even feels like shooting pains through your sides. If you ever have any bleeding with any of your cramps - CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMIDIATLY!

no, not contractions that you can physically feel. cramps, yes. If you're positive you're having contractions, you need to go to the ER to prevent a miscarriage.

anytype of cramping during pregnancy is not good! i was cramping alot during my second tri-mester and i was put on bed rest..b.c i was at risk for preterm labor! soo i suggest go call your doctor asap..or go to the labor and delivery at your hospital!
