Which job to stick with?

Currently I am working at Macy's and Gamestop. I'm a cashier ar Macy's and they're paying me $8/hr. When i was hired, they promised me a sales position, but right now its gonna be a while because all the positions are closed and i'm stuck with cashier. At gamestop, they are paying me $7.50/hr. It's a really easy job,i i just stand around most of the time and talk to my coworkers. and at macy's i'm working pretty hard especially on the weekends. but its nice because i get paid every week, so i always have money coming in. I dont know which on to keep..there are pros and cons to both jobs. I realy would like to keep both, but i will be going to school full time in april and won't have time. HELP! what would you do?

I would pickt o stay at Macy's since you get paid more. You also have opportunity to move up to sales (potentially more money on commission). Everything in life you have to work hard for. You might as well get used to working hard for your money. Macy's probably has flexible schedule to coincide with school hours. But remember, if they are not accomodating as far as time off to study, leave that job. nothing is more important than your education. Good Luck!!!

I say keep Gamestop. If you're going to school full time then you will need an easy job on the side to make some pocket change. Plus, if the job is easy you can get promoted easily, and you will make more money than just waiting at Macy's for a position to open up. Good luck!

You are better off sticking with Macy's. As a former employee of Gamestop, one of the things that I grew sick and tired of were the daily/weekly goals that were required of each employee. I do not believe such goals exist at Macy's, other than to wear a shirt and tie. Another thing with Gamestop is that they run these nameless promotions to get people to preorder a game that does not come out when it is originally scheduled. I worked in both environments, and Macy's seemed to be less stressful.
