TUMS. Not only good for heartburn, but high in Calcium and good for your diet/health.
Don't eat too late before going to bed, prop youself up to sleep.
You can take Mylanta, but I found that Tums always seemed to do the trick of calming the acids down. (still didn't make the nausea go away the first trimester, but at least the acids were better)

I drink milk, and eat TUMS. Not Roldaids, it has the bad stuff in it. Tums is all good and has lots of calcium.
There is nothing that I dont get heartburn for. I keep it, so I eat alot of Tums. I should probably invest stock in them as many as I go through.
Good luck to u and congrats.

I had really good luck with papaya tablets, in particular I thought the American Health brand helped the most.
I get horrid, horrid heartburn when pregnant. I also had to avoid drinking or eating right before bed too.
To give you somethign to look forward to, it's amazing how quickly the heartburn goes away once you give birth!

Drink Lots and Lots of water, dont eat right before bedtime if its worse at nite, and stay sitting upright for at least 2hrs after eating a meal...no guarantees but might help since your looking for natural remedies

I'm getting towards the end of my third trimester and I've sucked down 4 bottles of TUMS. Tums are good for pregnant women, they provide a lot of calcium for your body and good for the baby's bone growth.

I use Pepcid, I take only one tablet and my heartburn goes away. Tums didn't work for me. When I didn't have Pepcid with me and I had heartburn, eating dried mango helped me alot, I'm not sure if it helps anyone else, but I ate dried mango and it worked pretty good.

Rolaids, Tums, but if you had heartburn like I did , that wont matter, youwill have to chew like 2 every 2 hrs. I took Zantac, that only worked for a week and then also previcid. IF it was bad for you to take, your Dr wouldnt let you. Just be comfortable.

My doctor told me no tums or maalox until the 2nd trimester, but during the first you can use zantac. I have been using Zantac/150mg and I am in my first trimester and they work great!
