yes, its a nice seaside resort.
yes there are beaches.
they are rocky beaches.
other info....
there's clubs/discos: amazonia (at bugibba, some way ahead) and fuego.
there are many hotels and restaurants.
pools are also available (against payment if you re not staying in the hotel obviously)
there are also relaxing centres for massage etc...
the climate, like everywhere else (except in UK), is hot and sunny, so bring loose clothing and sandals and a lot of sun cream for your skin (60+ is good, especially for the kids).
well what else.....
night life is perfect for bbq's and night time strolls along the beaches as you feel the cool air after the scorching sun pleasant.

There are both sandy and rocky beaches in Qawra. Have a nice holiday. Soon I'll be there too for a holiday !!!

qawra, is highly urbanized.there's a lot of shops. why don't you google it. i had to do a geography project and found loads of info. if you don't find anything to ur liking add me as a contact, and i'll give u loads of info.
ps what made u want to stay on the island for 3 weeks. that's a hell of a long time.

im maltese. qawra is nice. it has beaches. many shops. it is situated near bugibba( in malta)
