Refurbished Television - Should I buy a 1080P for $1100?

I don't know a ton about televisions so I need some help here... I am considering purchasing a Olivia 1080P, 47 inch LCD televiision that was refurbished from TigerDirect. The television is $1100 and if I want a two year warranty another $200 more. Considering the fact you can't get a 1080P 47 inch tv for under $1700 new would you do this? Would you buy the warranty? If no, any alternatives you would suggest? Thanks, in advance, for the help!

I'm not big on Olivia but if you decide that you really want it I would definately get the two year warranty. Just make sure that the warranty will allow you to return the TV if you have any problems at all. Sometimes the warranties have small stipulations that can screw you.

To be honest, I would go with the New one. $200 bucks may be a lil bit more but think about it, Its also new, not refurbished. It may sound like a good deal but what kinda problem did the other ppl have to need to get it refurbished. Go with the new one man it may save u a lot of money later on down the road.
