This is a common problem but is easy to fix. Before washing your hair spray in an anti-colour run product like pantene or you'll find one at Priceattack or any salons. Then wash your hair with a colour lock shampoo and conditioner such as Bed Head; or a cheaper one that still works is Sunsilk. Hope this helps =]

as a seasoned hair dyer, i have a few peices of advice: don't wash it the first day at all, after dying, rinsing and conditioning leave it alone for 24 hours or more if you can. that will help. also, buy some shampoo specifically designed for dyed hair. try not to blow it dry, straighten, or curl it too much, as all that will damage the hair more. another tip is that if you have naturally dark hair, which i don't know, you may want to bleach it first to take on a bright color... but excercise caution with this, bleaching can severely damage your hair and make your color appear skewed... if it's a question, ask a hair coloring proffessional. hope all this was helpful.

Try to wash your hair every other day and use shampoo for color treated hair.

Cheeeely.
Obviously semi-permament will work but it will get washed out after a while. You can try permament if your opt to it.
