Fixing my desktop appearence?
I did something to my computer, and now the desktop image is much more pixalated & instead of having the text directly on the image, there's a color box surrounding the text. Is there anyway to fix this to look like it would normally in XP?

All the ones before me are great. but if they don't work out for you then try system restore.
Go to start> all programs>accessories>system tools>system restore
Then you can chose how far to restore. i recommend you restore to a date before the problem first occurred. this might delete some files and or programs. but read the instructions.

Goto display in control panel.
Under themes choose
Windows XP

right click destop
display properties will pop up
click settings tab
select highest (32 bit) under color quality
then click ok
restart
note that if your video card do not support 32bit then you might not be able to restart your pc, or everything will stay the way it was

right click desktop
click properties
on the theme tab select 'Windows XP' and apply.
