My menstrual cramps have been getting worse..?

When I first began to have my period I NEVER use to get cramps, but since about six months ago they started getting worse and worse to the point that not even pills help me with the pain. Does anyone know the reason and what I may do?

I think that it could be that : 1-you are drinking soda while you have your period 2-you do too much exercise (that gives you worse cramps) 3-you are eating chocolate 4-you're not relaxing while you have your period (take a step back and relax when on your period....it helps the week go by faster and all the chocolate and soda make your cramps worse b/c......idk but my mom told me so n trust me i've tried it)

I got my period when I was 11. Each year passing my cramps got worse and I couldn't even stand up sometimes. I passed out and threw up from the pain. My dr. said i needed to take more motrin...ok well that did absolutely nothing. If it continues go to an ob/gyn, thats what they're there for. Theres even specialists for teens. I am 16 and i know how you feel and it's awful. So far i have had no relief but my new dr helped me put a plan in action. I started taking yaz. hope i helped!
