I have half a head of cabbage, what should I do with it?

I'm just cooking for one, so huge recipes aren't much use to me.

i'm not sure what i'd call this.... cabbage skillet? cook up some "bow tie" noodles or bite size pasta. cut cabbage up into squares slice up onion and celery put all into skillet with butter and cook till tender add a can of diced tomatoes and cook a while longer. you can use whatever spices you like, i use basil salt and pepper and its wonderful you can add green pepper.... its all great in it. once all is heated add your cooked pasta and serve. below is a link to a picture of it i took myself.

Indian Cabbage - 3 T oil - 1 T turmeric - 2 T black mustard seed - coarsely shredded cabbage - 1/4 t salt or to taste Heat oil on medium heat in skillet. Add turmeric and black mustard seed. Cover. After mustard seed has popped for about 30 sec., reduce heat and add cabbage, stirring till covered with oil-spice mix (cabbage will still be slightly crispy). Sprinkle over and stir in salt (to taste). Serve warm. **************** Goes well with: Raita (cold yoghurt soup/condiment) - 2 small (16 oz) container plain yoghurt - 1 small ripe tomato, chopped (Roma is best) - 1/2 cucumber, chopped - 1/2 small onion, chopped - 2 T comino seeds, toasted Stir ingredients together. Serve or chill in refrig for 1 hr before serving. Stores well in fridge for up to 2 days. Bon appetit!!!! =)
