It's probably even with gifts.. but I definitely send more cards than I receive every year.. I think people just aren't doing cards as much anymore. But I usually don't give a gift and not get one back from that person. Best Wishes!

No. I don't look at it like that. I give to those that mean a lot to me. I like to take this special time (this season), to remember how God gave to me (His Son), and showed such great love. I like to slow down and do something nice for those that I seem to neglect during the year. To me, it's not about receiving gifts - it's about receiving and giving love. Sometimes the love I get back from a small gift is bigger than anything I could have ever expected.

My greatest joy is in giving. If I got nothing but having my family with me,that is all that matters.
To give is wonderful,to receive is just an extra little bonus, even if it's just a card.
Merry Christmas.

No, I feel like people buy more for us then we do for them. For instance, I have a husband and 2 kids, and my sister is single. She buys for 4 of us and we buy for 1 of her. It's not fair and I am asking her to cut back, but she won't listen. Same with my divorced Mom, I feel bad about it.

Yes, sometimes I do but it doesn't bother me. I've always been one to go way out for Christmas. This year I spend about $1,000 on my family. Now that I think about it, I think I went overboard but it doesn't matter as long as my family has a good Christmas.

Who cares, it is about giving not receiving.

If you're buying lots of gifts for kids, that's just how it's going to be.
