a b.tech dgree is an engineering degree . it covers the technical study of any field . but b.sc(h)degree covers the detailed study of the subject . its all about what the subject is . but b.tech won't cover that much detailed study its limited upto technical application. but its also true that both have their own importance. don't take study as a income source only . study what you really wanna do - learn technical applications OR detailed study of that particular subject. THANKYOU.

A B.tech degree is a much valued one, because it is equivalent to a BE degree sort of like engineering. But irrespective of the name of the degree i'd suggest (if u're asking for career advice) that you join a better college rather than a better 'named' degree.
