If I told a man, " here I am, what you see is what you get!" and he asked me what sign I was, should I have >

been so upset that I lied to him and said," Cancer, real craby!" to distract him which is what happened. Now 9 years latter he still keeps bringing it up and blames me for him having a lost weekend. I live in denial that I said it and blame him for not being quick witted enough to catch my hint. I threw a couple others at him right over the plate and he was so shocked he lost his speach. Who's right and who's wrong?

Nine years later why does it matter? It's the past...it was a silly comment and if someone lost a weekend, oh well. There have been MANY since then. If they didn't choose to make up for it, it's their problem. I can't believe someone would obsess over something so inconsequential for nearly a decade.

Neither of you are wrong. Sounds like you were being witty and he didn't pick up on the tone and now there is a bit of hard feelings. If it really bothers you, just apologize to him. Nothing else can really be done.

LOL he is wrong for not being quick witted, but why does he keep brining up one lost weekend he needs to let it go.

I think you both need to learn how to get over things. Nine years and he's still whinning about a comment you made? Sweet mother of God imagine how he would react if something consequential happened!! You both need to get over it!!
