Swimming? Best exercise for all round weight loss??
I'd really like to try swimming as a exercise to help weight loss.
Im 14, 5ft 5 and 11st something and my BMI is 25.6. I know im over-weight, but im too concious to get in a bathing suit >.<
A) Because I hate my chubby figure
B) Also, on top on my worries, when I was 3, I had a terrible accident that left me with 3rd degree burns scars on my thighs...but besides that, im just too concious of people seeing my figure :(
I need exercise and weight loss help!!

No, although swimming is a great exercise for weight-loss, the best cardio you can do for maximum and fastest weight-loss is without a doubt HIIT (High intensity Interval Training).
HIIT is great because it burns fat 9 times more effectively than any other cardio, and it only takes 12-15 minutes a day. HIIT should only be done 3 times a week due to its intensity.
HIIT is also great since, unlike other cardio, it does not burn muscle. This will help you achieve a great fit and toned look.

swimming u burn like 3x as many cals as running or biking..definitly the best cardio exercise and works all ur muscles so yes id strongly suggest it and u know id want the same pple seeing me swim every day and show them how much u lose thatd be my motivation :) u know gotta look good for these people though i hope u wanna be fit for u but really pple know ur chubby whether ur shirts off or not..and who cares u wanna get fit no ones gonna make fun of u for that if they do they are rudee and shouldnt be at the gym if that's where ur swimming
