The Arbiter of common sense
An online petition is somewhat like a verbal agreement: not worth the paper it's written on.
In order to really get the attention of the school administration, you'd need to take the time and effort to collect signatures in person. The very fact that you have no time for anything but an online petition suggests the issues isn't important enough to matter to YOU, so why would it matter to them?
I'm not trying to be snarky towards you at all, but I'm pointing out how an online petition will be perceived. Add in the total lack of verfiability, and I doubt it will do anything more than a simple request from you yourself.
Why not just send an email, setting out in clear and well written terms, what you are concerned with. If you can, get a few friends to add their names to the email as well.

Anonimoose
you can have supporters sign on a paint program then attach the file to an e-mail for you the cut the signature and put it on on document. Also the amount of signatures depends on the population of your school just try to get as many as you can. It doesn't hurt to have extra signatures. But still you might be better of doing it old fashioned way
