does anyone know why my car stalls for no reason at all when i slow down it just turns off!?

when im driving my car runs fine and its all good and been serviced but when i slow down or turn a corner its just turns off and i loose power steering its realll anoying and dangerous i have taken it to the mechanics and they have even run it through the computer and still dont know whats wrong with it and it gets worser when the car is warmer, its just a little holden astra cant memba what year but not reallllll old but not new either maybe 90 something it is a manual but its not me stalling it its only whent i stop at red light slow down for a corner or to turn into a driveway stuff like that if anyone knows that would be great???

Sounds like it could be the Engine losing its vacuum pressure from either the power brakes, or the power steering may do so. First check your vacuum lines for leaks/breaks. Check your power steering fluid as this may be doing so as well. Check brake fluid. Check s-belt tightness. But this is an issue that would NOT register on a computer because it is not an emission related problem. Good Luck

have the torque convertor appeared at. keen to wager that's the lock up sort, which constantly has this subject, have not have been given any clue what the engineers have been smoking the day they got here up with that little gem of an theory. wager they have been given it from ford. had one force me nuts for days on end. that's what the subject became if so.

acts like fuel problems. go with the cheaper thing first. change the gas filter, it might be getting plugged up.

may be; fuel pump, fuel injectors, spark plugs, or ecm(computer)
