OK. You should put some kind of heat protectant on your hair beforehand and probably start with dry hair. So you heat up the rollers and wait until they get hot then you roll your hair up an clamp the holders on top of the roller so it will stay.you wait until the rollers cool down to take them out and then voila you have instant volume and curl!! don't blow dry. If the curls are tight you can separate them so you have more volume in your hair. and comb out some of the curl if there is too much if you want waves. If you wanted waves, a curling iron wouldn't be so bad or a crimp iron/wave iron would be a good investment practice makes perfect and you will get better at using a curling iron if you practice trust me. As for the hot rollers, I hope I helped some.
