You have to give it a bath everyday so that it will feel fresh. But don't overdo it because if so, it might catch cold. Just give it a regular bath. You can try every other day. Just make sure you give them a bath especially if they have lots and lots of fur. Hope I helped. This is what we do to our dogs at summer.

You might just try keeping the hair combed out every day. Where I live it would be too cold at 63 to give my dogs a bath. If it is less than 70 degrees outside, and I give my dogs a bath, I get out the blow dryers. For your dogs, 63 might seem hot, so a bath, or hosing them down might help. I think you should send that cold air to my house so I can better research your answer. lololol

Of course you can give them a bath. You can just sprinkle them with water. Also they need to be on a shade if they are outside. Give them or have an access to plenty of fresh drinking water everyday.

dogs do not sweat, so they pant. this is a way of keep their bodies cool. giving them a regular bath is good for them, esp if it is hot outside. dogs can die from overheating, esp if it is hot outside and they panic or kept on running.
