How do you solve it ?

1) Andrea has $20 in her savings account. She'll add $3 per week to her savings account for n weeks. write an algebraic equation yo show the amount of he money andrea will have in her account after n weeks. 2) Anna & Brad practiced serving a volleyball over the net. Anna served the ball over the net 18/25 time Brad served the ball over the net 75% of the time use fractions/decimals or percents to show which of them had the greater rate of success in serving the ball over the net. 3) Sean & Larry are participating in a 30 mile bike race. Sean averages 20 miles per hour and larry averages 15 miles per hour. How many miles will larry be from the finish line when sean finishes the race ?

1) 20 + 3n Start with 20, add 3 for every week so 3 times number of weeks 2) Anna = 18/25 -> 0.72 -> 72 % Brad = 75% 75% > 72% so Brad more successful than Anna 3) Sean 20 mph so 20 miles after an hour, finished in 1.5 hours (30/20) x (1 hour) = 1.5 Larry 15 mph so 15 miles after an hour, finished in 2 hours (30/15) x (1 hour) = 2 So when Sean finishes, Larry will be 3/4 done (1.5/2) so he will be 22.5 miles from the finish line (30 x 3/4) = 22.5
