Can a 5 year old play a wii?

Thinking of getting one for my son for Christmas, but want to be sure before I shell out all of that money.

Yes. It's great for kids. Lots of easy, fun games that will let them jump around and have fun.

He certainly can... Just make sure he doesn't get hurt while swinging that control made of fun. No, really. But all depends of the game, playing Wii Sports shouldn't be a problem, but playing something like Fire Emblem (random example) should be a little more complicated.

yeah. It's good exercise My neighbors daughter is friends with my brother. She is five and she knows how to play the Wii very well. If not you can teach him. Like how to swing the remote, putting on the wrist band so the remote does not fly out of his hands too.... (that happened to me)

no he is too young to play a wii. lets say he has a tantrum him will go crazy while playing saying its "cheating" and he will throw it and break a tv and the remote. or he will be playing a game that requires him to swing the controller and it will slip out of his hand and things will break
