Genesis 12, God promised Abraham that he would be the father of a great nation (the Jews), that that the Jews would possess a land, and that nation would be blessed above all other nations, and that all nations would be blessed out of Israel. So, from the beginning God reveals that Israel would be His chosen people on the earth, but that His blessing and working would not be limited to them exclusively. Galatians 3:14 identifies the nature of the blessing that would come to all the other nations in addition to Israel. It says, “That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” All the nations of the world, then, would be blessed by Israel, through whom would come the Savior of the world. The "source" of the above information is the Holy Bible.

It should be explained at the beginning of the book? Abraham is not the same Abraham as the one in religious history. It is a collection of spiritual beings that she is channelling. I suggest you get one of her dvd's, particularly "Abraham — The secret behind “The Secret”?" as that explains about channelling & how it started & how she was brought up to be against that sort of thing but she started channelling accidentally after starting to meditate every day for 20 minutes or so. Whether you believe she is channelling or not doesn't matter as the information is harmless & it makes sense. It's not scary or anything & she's not putting on an accent like most channellers do when they channell. If you don't like the dvd & decide it's not for you then you can just sell it on ebay. On their website there is a free cd they will send you too, called Introduction to Abraham. Also have a look under Journals, Questions & Answers, etc as you might find that interesting. And when she is talking about "Source" she just means helpful spirit beings or God or the Universe or spiritual energy or whatever you want to call "it". I guess it's like when religious people pray, who are they praying to? They might call it God, but Esther chooses to call it "Source" as she see's God as an energy & if you ask something of it like asking for help or guidance then that energy called "Source" is what is helping you or answering you. Some other books that explain all this in simple terms are the Louise Hay or Wayne Dyer ones that you can get from your library. Basically it's all about spirituality & metaphysics. If you haven't heard of metaphysics then google it or look it up on Wikipedia. It's about the belief that we can create our own reality by what we choose to focus on & the proof of this would be a person from a very poor background who manages to become wealthy. Not from winning the lottery, but from his or her own will & creation of wealth through work or starting a business or investing wisely, etc. Not everyone who works, starts a business, etc succeeds at that so it's about what sets the successful person apart from the person who failed. The successful one believed they would be a success, even if they initially failed. So that is what they mean by people creating their own reality. Hope that helps. Don't take it all too seriously, just pick out what seems right to you & apply it to your life & ignore the parts that you don't agree with, it's not for everyone, some people are more inclined towards religion or something else.

Abraham believed God and trusted him completely- even when it was hard! He believed that God would fulfil the promises he promised him - and God did. He believed God and it was "counted upon him as righteousness". He had no children, but God said he would - at this time he was OLD!!! His wife was old too - technically speaking, children would have been impossible - but God fulfilled the promise with Isaac - whom he then asked Abraham to sacrifice! But at the very last moment, God basically said : okay you really do trust me, and provided a ram to be a sacrifice instead... God told Abraham that one-day his descendants would cover the Earth... God fulfils his promises. Jesus was a descendant of Abraham. Abraham did what God asked of him, no questions asked. He believed God, trusted God, loved God.
