over the counter meds or wait to see if preggo?

If I might be pregnant but am getting neg. results is it still safe to maybe get sometime for the thick white discharge i'm currently encountering? It doesn't really itch or anything but just in case should I get something over the counter or should I wait just incase i'm pregnant?

I'd say see your doctor. I didn't get a positive home pregnancy test till I was 4 months pregnant with my son and when I was 3 months pregnant with my daughter. Some girls just don't get a high level of Hcg hormones till they are further along. So the doctor can give you something for your discharge wether or not your preggo and you can find out for sure if you are or aren't. Good Luck!

I'll tell you this. It still can read negative if your pregnant. If it says positive there's no hesitation that you are! But if you have doubts go to a doctor. You probably are not having your period because you are worried. I wouldn't even take over the counter meds. You might not even have what you think you have! A lot of women treat themselves all the time for something they don't have and in 5-9 months it comes back again because it wasn't what they thought it was! GO TO A DOCTOR!

White discharge is normal, so if it's not itchy or smelly then there's no reason to buy anything for it. Discharge picks up while pregnant so I think you should just wait. ETA: I just saw that your last period was early August. You should go to the dcotor and get a blood test just to be sure.

Yes, discharge is normal if you are pregnant. If it does not itch, do not take any otc meds in case you are pregnant. Good Luck!

go see a MD to confirm your pregnancy before taking any meds.... meds are most dangerous for baby during first trimester...

if it burns when you pee, get meds NOW. it may just be that you're pregnant, but i would go to a physician either way.
