please help me! my grandma..?
she is right here beside me and she is asleep and whimpering saying no, no and it is scaring me. should i wake her up? i am afraid that if i do then she won't know where she is!

Okay okay, calm down. Panicking isn't going to solve the problem.
Just gently wrap your arms around her and whisper soothing things in her ear and tell her everything's all right, that you are here. Then carefully lead her to her room or wherever she sleeps and lay her in bed. Make sure she's settled and if anything else happens that you don't think you can handle, go get your parents.

don't wake up your grandma scientist have found out that if you speak to a sleeping person they will speak back which may be scary but its true. so speak to her gently and speak about whatever the nightmare is like say i know we need to get away or something like that and slowly change the conversation then you may calm her down

gently put your arms around her and say grandma I love you so much.
this should wake her and not startle her.
she's probably having a nightmare.
