Yes, this is within the range of normal. Girls get their periods a lot younger now than they did on average a few hundred years ago, but 17 or 18 is not abnormal. If you work out a lot or don't eat enough, or live in a very stressful situation like a concentration camp, you might not get your period. Those situations can also cause your period to cease later on in life. I suggest you see a gynecologist and discuss your concerns. She can look at your genitals and tell if everything is healthy. Your pediatrician or family doctor can also do this is many cases.

Totally normal. Some women don't get their periods until they're in their 20's. If you are worried about it, I would suggest seeing your doctor and having him take a look-see, perhaps even a pap, in case there is something wrong. Just relax and enjoy what time you have without it because it gets annoying, time-consuming, and stressful once it starts!

Its no biggy dont subject. My buddy jessica didnt have her first era till she became into 18 and shes completely superb. Your going to be ok in basic terms take a deep breath and permit the rigidity pass out. Goodluck

if your an athlete and you push your body or work out hard its not a surprise if you havent had your period either that or your a hermaphodite and your other half genitals are not showing its possible in medical science

for some it takes a while i've seen a person take till she was 20.girl you just got blessed is what you did.they are so messy and gross.and can be painful.when you start getting irritable with eveyone it's about that time.lol

my sister was nearly 18 before she got hers, this was mainly because she was really light and petite. Everybody starts at different times so no one can say your not normal. your perfectly normal, it will come one day. x

this happened to my grandma and its not because your fat or skiiny it just normal my grandma didn't get it until 20 and she is blessed i really suggest you go ask the doctor to give you a test were it tells you if your gonna get it soon or later.
