Anyone know how long it takes to get pregnant after you get off Birth control?
I've been on b/c for only a month now but I do want to have a baby in about another year or so, but I have to take these pills for now to regulate my cycles & so forth, but do you know how long it usually takes for it to wear off after you stop taking them so you can TTC? :-/ I'm just a little worried that if I continue to take these pills that it will be a lot harder for me to get pregnant after I get off of em..................?

I was on the pill for 3 years... when I quick, it took almost a full year. I had a miscarriage first, then 5 months later I got pregnant again! My son is now 2 months old :) It also depends on your own individual body, good luck!

I got pregnant right after i went off the pill within two months. Which really isnt a good thing to do or so my dotor told me. I think she said its not good for the baby especially if its a girl. As a matter of fact it seemed to make me more fertile than if I hadn't been on it.

It shouldn't hinder your chances. i've been on it 6 years nearly. I'm not worried at all. It can take an average couple upto 1 year to fall pregnant once stopped using protection. Good luck

It took me a year to conceive after coming off of the pill due to irregular periods.

It really depends on every women's body, I got pregnant as soon as I got off the pill but my friend got pregnant after 8months after pill so it really depends when your body adjust to it.
