No, "Santa" is not real. The idea was from Saint Nicholas, who died December 6th in year 343. Saint Nick secretly gave gifts to everyone which made the idea of Santa. If you think about it, Santa Claus even sounds like Saint Nicholas.

Just as much as I have green hair. Jk but he really isn't real... sorry to have to break the news to you. Even when I was 8 and believed in Santa I only got fake Santa gifts. He is based on a real person, though. Saint Nick.
