On a scale of 1-10, how afraid are you that your culture and your values are under threat?

0: What culture? What values? These are made up concepts that I can't touch or see -- they don't exist! 1: Karma karma karma karma karma chameleon, you come and go, you come and go-o-o-o. 2: You talking to _me_? 3: The only threat is from ourselves. We should take care of ourselves, our family and those close to us and the rest will look after itself. 4: There are concerns, rather than fears, and we should engage with them positively. There is no us and them. We are all one culture and we can all learn from each other. We have common values and where there are differences we can always find a compromise that we agree on. 5: I tolerate all cultures and provided there is no conflict between their values and ours, we can live in peace and harmony. 6: I respect those of other cultures and they are free to practice their cultures, but only in private. I don't want our culture getting infected, or our people falling into the abyss, so it must be clear that our culture and our values are upheld in public. 7: Very. We must build a big wall and those of other cultures must stay safely behind it. 8: It's not under threat, but they must be eliminated anyway. They make my skin crawl. You're not one of them, are you? If you could kindly just step into my shower. (Later: "But Adolf, that was our babysitter!") 9: My name is Joseph, Joseph Stalin. Can I afford to let you live? Sorry, you didn't answer quickly enough and I had insufficient evidence to be sure that you weren't a lethal enemy trying to kill me. 10: I've already taken cover. I've been hiding in a cave for seven years now. And thank God they still haven't got me!

'Culture and values under threat?' It is a shame that as human beings we are facing a breakdown within our social fabric; for that much is clear for those who have eyes to see, but what is the cause of it? I do not feel it is any of the above, but rather, a lack of the development of the human psyche. For if an individual could development their psyche; their character, the world would be a better place to live, for one would have learned how to take the log out of their own eye, before they take the speck out of another persons eye. In understanding oneself first, one can better understand the world in which one lives and act accordingly. I could not 'scale' by concern, it is enough that the breakdown of the social fabric does concern me very much.

7 Chexk this out: Since last week on the food network they have been doing shows about the thanksgiving dinner. I have seen a few already and at the end they usually finish having the dinner with their family. They never give a word of grace or a bit of grattitude prayer to God. They just say I love you to their families and gobble dinner in. Thats not the point, the point is to at least one day a year give thanks to God and now they are even managing to get god out of thanks giving day. Thats an example of how are values and beliefs are being diminished.

Your right ...you can't touch them..! As a partial Native American they have been under threat since 1600's at the very least. Adolf was in a line and didn't know it....as he was not the first to do such.

I'm not afraid of anything. I've been a war. The only thing to wonder about is delusional people. Do you know of any? If not, take a long look in a mirror.
