Bronchitis is definitely contagious for babies. But, as one of the other wise members said, the other child should have been on antibiotics if they were diagnosed with bronchitis. If they have not had the antibiotics for 48 hours, I would postpone the visit till New Year's. You and your family have enough stress with a 4 month old baby.
