Could someone help me fill out the registration form for a small dog show?

Its not a CH show, just a small one run by the local club. I have a Japanese Shiba Inu who came from an excellent line and the breeder sold her to me for pet only, but has since offered to take her to Ch shows for me and we feel little practice at the small shows would do her the world of good. Only thing is I have never been to a dog show never mind running a dog in one. I am new to the whole business and have 3 registration forms that I have no idea how to fill out. I think I under stand that she will be going to the Japanese Shiba Inu Puppy, Graduate and Open. I think.... and If there is no Shiba class then it the A.V Utility N.S.C Puppy and Open. That sorts makes sense to me. the part that's getting me is on the guidelines to fill it out it says "All dogs must be register at the Kennel Club in the name of the exhibitor" now because she was for pet I was under the impression that the KC Doc would not be issued, I know she was registered but I assume it would be under the breeders name. But when she said I could show her in small shows for practice its obvious that's I would be need to tae her in, but the breeder would be doing it in the Ch shows... I don't think I understand it all. I mean I understand the reason she wants to take the dog in is because she bred her and if she wins I understand its her name that's praiseded, but she bred her so that's totally fair! I guess all I want to know is... Will my application for this show be accpeted, if I fill it out in my name as she is my dog, my name is on her chip etc the only thing is the kennel Club registation. HELP! The dog show world is so complexe!

The question is WHO's name is listed as the owner on her registration that you should have sent in for a number? The breeder's name would be listed as breeder of the dog. You should be listed as the owner of the dog. The breeder, when she takes the dog to a championship show, would be listed as a "handler" or "bred by" on the entry slip.

In concept, your interest plan sounds solid, yet what's going to take place to the stray pregnant Pit Bull you took in, and asked approximately protecting it heat exterior whilst it whelps? What in regards to the Pit Bull doggy you got from the Vet? NO solid breeder will sell you 2 doggies on an identical time besides, so as that blows your tale ideal out of the window, AND the human beings who promote their canines it dogs Fancy PAY to do it, and ninety 9% of them are glorified doggy turbines. They PAY to try this because of the fact they might"T sell them on their very own, this skill that they don't have a solid recognition first of all. You did no longer purchase prepare high quality doggies, the two. you got prepare skill doggies, if that area is even genuine. you apart from mght did various study in this situation to be waiting to even form all which you probably did. you elect somebody to accept as true with you ideal now, incredibly than seeing how issues would be 2 years down the line. Sorry, yet that's my honest opinion. upload: canines do no longer *delivery* expensive. They whelp. No such ingredient as *pinnhip.* A Chia puppy might desire to get their CGC.

The best thing to do is e-mail or call the club and explain you are new to all this but would like to show your dog they will explain all paper work to you with ease and wether or not you may show your dog with them according to their guidelines If it is just a local club fun show then it may not be necessary to have a papered dog. Have Fun and good luck

You would need to have papers to show her. Since the breeder wants to show her, ask for help. If she really wants your dog shown, she should be happy to help.

The Breeder should be willing to help you with this. Especially since she has agreed to do the shows for you. Just ask her.
