Chord progressions are the basis of all music. With certain chord arrangments, different frameworks of m usic a produced. From there, we can modify the chords into different positions, and turn the into broken chords, add passing notes etc...which forms the melody. Chords are the basis of music theory, and to learn an instrument well, knowing the theory and structure of music is important
