do you think this is a fair share of house chores for a 15yrs old?

i am a 15 yrs old girl, this is basically what i do around the house. i have another 2 younger siblings, 6, and 1. they can't do anything. i do -setting up and cleaning dinner table -laundry: pretty much everyone's. my mom only does it when she has time, which is rare -take care of my own room: i take care of everything related to me cause id on't want others to get in the way. -pack my own lunch for school (duh) -only sometimes clean the bathroom me and my sister share -only ocassioanly do the dishes (by hand). my mom bought a new dishwasher and doesn't let ppl use it cause she thinks it wastes water, electircity, etc., it pisses me off -some of the leaves in autumn -sometimes help with bab when asked to cause i am not a freebird with nothing else to do -maybe there's other little things here and there. cna't remember just as a side note, i don't have any pets and i have high marks in school, lots of extra curricular activities, and too many friends to keep up with. lol. and plz excuse my spelling, i am in a hurry so what do you think about what i do? i am asking cause my parents don't think id o enough. cause i don't do floors, vacumming, babysit more, etc etc. what do you do and hwo old are you? do you think this is fair? tell me what yout hink :)

the 6 yr old can set the table and help clear it. the 6 yr old can sweep and help with the laundry. i said help as in separate clothes and fold towels and match socks. I would not let a 6 yr old start a machine or load/unload one. the 6 yr old can help in the bathroom as well. unless the child has special needs they can be very helpful. 6 year olds want to get approval and will help out if they feel needed so go for it, tap into this world of help just waiting for you. I think you do an ok amount but they are not asking too much of you. Do you do these chores without being nagged to get them done?

I don't think it's too much at all. You could have to do more. I did a lot when I was your age, ut I also had an allowance for it. If you babysit and clean the whole house all the time you should get paid for it. Setting the table takes 5 minutes and clearing takes about that much time to. You are old enough to pick up after yourself and you should so your stuff doens't count as a chore. All you do with luandry is put it in the machine and then fold it. Now that can take a bit for a big family, but if you do one load a day seriously that doesn't take lone either. I would not expect you to do a ton every day b/c you are a teen and need to have your own life and get your school work done. However it woudl nto kill you to vacuum or mop once in a great while. I don't think you are ungreatful, but I think you are a but whiney which is normal for teenage girls but still a bit annoying. Your parents I'm sure both work full time and do the cooking and the rest of the cleaning not to mention taking care of 2 younger kids. One alone is a ton of work.

In three years you will be moving out (hopefully) and then they will have so much more respect for you when they feel what it's like to do everything you are doing. I don't want to sound mean but if your parents were smarter they would have had their children closer in age so not all the burden would fall on their oldest (of many years older). Right now, I know it's tough but I don't think all th chours you are doing are out of this world crazy tbh. That being said I think I'd refuse (be a rebel :P) to do the dishes unless you can use the dishwasher.

i'm 13 i have to do my laundry on tuesdays and hang/ fold by wednesday night. i unload the dishwasher close to every day. on mondays, wednesdays and fridays i have to brush my dog, tuesdays and thursdays i have to feed her, my 11 year old brother brushes her on the nights i have to feed her, and i brush the night he has to feed her. i have to clean up after dinner every night, unless i crash at someone elses house. i'm expected to keep my room clean, i don't haha. i vaccum the whole downstairs every other day. i have to get everything done before 6:00pm, or i get my phone taken away for the night. i don't really complain about chores, because it pays my phone bill, hahah i think you may be doing too much, i'd just do the stuff you think you should do(:

Im 15, i only have to clean up my bedroom, and on rare ocasions i do landry and watchin Addie ( sisters baby) but for no more then 20 mins. So i'd say yeah that is a lot and unfair!

i am 14 and have to do all those things... my mom works second shift so shes always gone when i get home from school and she doesnt get home till late so i never see her on weekdays..i have to cook supper for me and my dad and she always has a list of work for me to do while shes not there...its like she thinks i dont have a life(which i do!!) and want to do extra work(which i dont!!!) im also the youngest in the family so when my brother and sister moved out i got stuck with all the jobs!! i also have a dog and some wild cats that i have to feed and water..in the winter i have to shovel...it drives me insane!!! in the summer i have to mow lawn..which is not fun! we have a ride on lawnmower and i have to mow my familys lawn and my grandmas..which adds up to like 8 acres of land and usually takes around 8 hours to do it all...BORING!! well yeah...i guess thats pretty much all the work i do..i hate it cuz i do sports and band and have a ton of homework every night so it sucks!! :(

well im 15 i only wash dishes well barely do that! lol and i have to clean my own room duh! thats all i do around the house.. i have 4 other sisters but only me and my 13 year old sister do chores sometimes the others 3 are too young there 2,4,5.... but my moms always yelling at me saying i don't clean up enough.. but i feel that if i don't make the mess i shouldn't clean it caUSE its usually my 3 lil sisters who make all the messes in the our house/ my mom cleans up the most though.
